Overview

CrewCall LLC operates a storm workforce management platform for utility contractors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our platform at crewcallhq.org.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Contractor account information. Login credentials, company name, billing details, and account preferences for contractor platform users.
• Contractor-managed workforce data. Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and classifications of utility linemen are entered directly into the platform by the contractor. CrewCall stores this data on behalf of the contractor as a service provider but does not independently collect, access, or use this information for any purpose other than delivering the platform.
• Usage data. Information about how the platform is used, including storm events created, roster data, and equipment records.
• SMS communication data. Message content and response data from two-way SMS communications sent through the platform on behalf of the contractor.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and provide the CrewCall platform to contractor customers
• Send SMS storm callout notifications to utility linemen on behalf of contractors who have collected proper consent
• Facilitate two-way SMS communication between contractors and their workforce
• Maintain and improve the platform
• Respond to support requests

SMS Messaging and Consent

CrewCall sends SMS messages to utility linemen on behalf of contractor customers. Phone numbers are added to the platform only after the contractor has collected explicit written consent from the lineman. Contractors are contractually required (per our Terms and Conditions) to retain proof of consent for every lineman they add.

Recipients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. We honor opt-outs immediately and notify the contractor that the lineman has opted out.

We do not sell or share phone numbers or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 Type II compliant cloud database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access control, and regular security audits to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the platform — including Twilio (for SMS delivery), Supabase (for data storage), and Vercel (for application hosting). These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.
• Law enforcement or government authorities when required by valid legal process.

Data Retention

We retain contractor account and event data for as long as a contractor account is active. Contractors may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us at support@crewcallhq.org. SMS opt-out records are retained indefinitely to ensure we honor opt-out requests in perpetuity.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction or deletion of your information
• Opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP to any message
• Contact us with privacy-related questions or concerns
